Photo to Cartoon is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it lets you convert common images to cartoons.
The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. You can open an image by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
So, you can adjust the outlines and colors (optionally disable them), as well as edit them (e.g. draw or erase outlines, split, merge, despeckle or replace colors).
But you can also select the style (e.g. solid, crayon, canvas, coloring book) and make it darker or brighter, add speech bubbles and choose from a wide range of shapes, as well as insert text and pick the font.
In addition, you can crop a photo, load a webcam snapshot, zoom in and out, print or save the image as a Photo to Cartoon project file, for further editing, and more.
The program requires a very high amount of system resources (but other applications don't seem to run slower in the background) and includes a step-by-step guide with examples and images. No errors have occurred during our tests, since the software didn't freeze or crash.
Effects take small time to be applied onto the image. We strongly recommend Photo to Cartoon to users of any experience level, for entertainment purposes.
